Blair Castle

Nestling like a white jewel in the dramatic Highland Perthshire landscape, Blair Castle is the magnificent ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl.  The Castle boasts famous collections of paintings, tapestries and china, beautiful grounds, a licensed restaurant and gift shop.

Daily opening from April to October; open on Tuesdays and Saturdays during low season. Blair Castle is also available for weddings and functions.

Blair Castle celebrated 75 years of public opening on June 2nd 2011.  To mark this occassion, there have been a number of special events throughout the year including a celebratory day on Wednesday 1 June (the actual anniversary day) as well as a temporary exhibition focusing on the many fascinating and beautiful artefacts donated by memebers of the Atholl family.  For more information, please visit www.blair-castle.co.uk
