Events

The castle mounts a full programme of special events. Currently these include:

May 28th Atholl Highlanders Parade
Your chance to see the annual parade of The Atholl Highlanders and Pipe Band
Parade begins at 2.30pm.

May 29th Atholl Gathering and Highland Games
Annual Highland Games at Blair Castle.  Things to see: March on by The Atholl Highlanders, traditional Highland Games events including tossing the caber, tug-of-war etc.  Trade stands and refreshments.   

  
July 20th and 27th Blair Castle Celtic Night
An opportunity to sit back and watch all things Scottish in a traditional Highland Night, featuring the Pitlochry and Blair Atholl Pipe Band, Highland Dancers and much more.  A great evening of entertainment for all. 

August 18th to 21st Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair

October 29th  Glenfiddich Piping Championships
Annual International Piping Championships held in the Castle Ballroom.

October 30th Glenfiddich Fiddling Championships
Annual International Fiddling Championships held in Castle Ballroom.
