Our Estate

Blair Castle stands at the centre of a large estate with over 145,000 acres (58,725 hectares) of hill land, farmland, forestry, housing, industrial development and way-marked trails.

Sporting visitors to Atholl Estates can enjoy excellent deer stalking as well as grouse shooting in superbly scenic hill country. There is also salmon fishing on several famous Perthshire rivers and trout fishing on remote Highland lochs.

There is a choice of five Highland lodges to let for sporting parties and holidaymakers, while Blair Castle Caravan Park provides holiday homes and pitches for caravans and tents.

Visitors wishing to explore the Estate can do so either on foot or bike along the 150 miles of managed trails or by pony through the Trekking Centre (www.blaircastletrekking.co.uk)
located to the north of the Castle grounds.

The Estate offers a Ranger Service (http://www.athollestatesrangerservice.co.uk) which provides free information and advice. The Service operates a Visitor Centre in Blair Atholl between April and October but staff are available to assist through the full year.
