Our Visitor Facilities



Parking
Free parking for castle visitors is available within 100 yards of the castle for 200 cars and 20 coaches. Coaches may drop passengers at the castle entrance before returning to the car park.

Castle Tours
Individuals are free to make their own way round the castle route where our friendly guides are available to answer questions.
For groups of 12 + accompanied and guided tours are available at no extra cost, subject to availability. Booking is recommended and booked tours are given priority. Tours take about 50 minutes.

Languages
Room notes are available in 8 languages. Tours are usually available for groups by arrangements in English, German, French and Italian. Some other languages are sometimes offered.
Guide Books
Books are available in English, French, German and Italian at £3.50 each.
Piper
A piper plays daily at the castle during the summer season.




Restaurant
Visitors are made to feel very welcome in our restaurant which seats up to 125 people and is available from 10.00am – 5.00pm. The Garry Room can accommodate up to 35 people by prior arrangement.

Shop
The castle shop stocks a wide range of gifts, books and souvenirs, many based on the Blair Castle collections.

Gardens and Grounds
The extensive parklands in their magnificent Highland setting form part of a large estate with many walks and trails. The landscaped grounds include superb woodlands, notably Diana's Grove, and the 9 acre Hercules Garden has been painstakingly restored to its 18th century original form. There is a deer park and pony trekking close to the castle.

Other Facilities 
Audio visual room and limited mobility scooter available for grounds access.
