2011 Event Dates
April 24th - Easter at Glamis
Enjoy a family fun day at Glamis with Family activities for the whole family. Activities include: Storytelling ,  Easter Bunny Hunt and Face Painting. Storytelling Sessions will be held in one of the oldest and most atmospheric part of the Castle. Sessions run throughout the day and can be booked in advance. April 29th - Royal Wedding Celebration
Visitors to the castle will be able to watch the Royal Wedding as it happens. A celebratory Wedding Brunch will be available in the atmospheric Victorian Kitchen Restaurant. A Historical Wedding Exhibition will be on show in the Coach House Exhibition Room throughout the year.

June 12th  - Strathmore Highland Games
Celebrating Scotland's rich cultural heritage, The Strathmore Highland Games are held every year in the ground of Glamis Castle. Events include the 800 metres Scottish Cycling Championship, Scottish Caber Tossing Championship, Tug o' War and Hammer Throwing. Other events include Running, Cycling, Highland Dancing and Solo Piping, Spectator's are invited to take part in the Overseas Visitors Race, grouped according to age. July 9th & 10th - Scottish Transport Extravaganza
The Scottish Vintage Vehicle Transport Extravaganza is the foremost exhibition of classic and vintage vehicles. Held annually in the grounds of Glamis with the castle as backdrop, it makes a wonderful family day out.
With over 800 vintage cars and other vehicles on display, plus many more attractions including pipe bands, children’s area, stalls, craft and food tents there is something for the whole family. For ticket information please see www.glamis-castle.co.uk


July 30th - Glamis Castle Grand Scottish Prom
Each year the Grand Scottish Prom Picnic Concert is enjoyed by thousands on the lawns of Glamis Castle. The Prom is one of the highlights of the season at Glamis Castle, The atmosphere is described by many as magical, with people coming from as far as the US to see the event. September 3rd & 4th - Scotland's Countryside Festival
Each year Scotland's Countryside Festival is held in the spectacular grounds of Glamis Castle. Over the last number of years thousands of visitors have visited the Countryside Festival and have discovered that it is much more than just another game fair.
